Industrial electric autoclaves are used in canning production for sterilization of vegetable, fruit, meat, fish canned food, pastes, preserves, mushrooms, juices, sauces.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Industrial water autoclaves and sterilizers are designed for sterilization and pasteurization of: canned meat and fish, preserves and pastes, canned vegetables and fruits, dairy products, juices, mushrooms and other products in glass and tin packaging.

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Industrial water autoclaves sterilize canned food in a water bath. The product is placed in baskets and with the help of a hoist it is lowered into the working capacity of the autoclave.

Sterilization occurs according to a formula that is individual for each product. The sterilization formula consists of three main steps: process stabilization, sterilization and cooling. An industrial water autoclave ensures the development of all stages according to the sterilization formula, while the main parameters are programmed on the control panel. The design of the autoclave provides stability and uniformity of temperature over the entire volume of the sterilization chamber.

The water autoclave is equipped with instruments for measuring temperature and pressure. The autoclave has a water jacket with fittings for filling, discharge and draining water, providing accelerated cooling of the sterilization chamber.

On the autoclave body, there is a pipe with a ball valve for bleeding air, and in the bottom there is a pipe for draining water from the sterilization chamber.

Autoclaves can operate under pressure up to 4.0 atmospheres with a maximum temperature of up to 135 °C.

Complete set of vertical electric water autoclave:

  • Remote control. The control panel sets the process mode of sterilization of products.

  • temperature sensors, pressure gauges (control and indicating ones), taps for supplying and draining water, thermometers;

    1. Reliability of the design. All autoclaves are made of thick-walled metal (wall thickness: s 8-10mm; bottom and lid: s 16-20 mm). Before shipment, the autoclave shall be checked by an independent organization for tightness of the connecting welds, a hydraulic testing certificate and an ultrasound or radiographic inspection protocol shall be issued.

    2. Properly selected power of heating elements. For the production of canned food according to standards and GOSTs, it is very important to observe the sterilization formula: time to reach the desired temperature, sterilization time and cooling time.     3. Convenience of service and opening of a lid. The covers of autoclaves for 423 liters and more are equipped with a rotary mechanism and a reliable bayonet lock.

    4. The presence of a control panel with a device or controller for setting the sterilization modes (time, pressure, temperature), automatic switching on and off of heating elements, temperature maintenance, the presence of an audio signal.

    5. Complete set of all autoclaves baskets for laying products. The presence of baskets allows you to increase productivity, do not drain the water from the autoclave using it repeatedly, the convenience of laying the cans.

    6. The presence of a cooling jacket. Cooling of the canned food is one of the most important stages in the preparation of a product in an autoclave after cooking. It is important to observe the cooling time according to the sterilization formula. If you cool the product too long, the product begins to boil and lose its appearance. Water autoclaves have a jacket for water cooling, and it is also possible to supply water into the autoclave. The average autoclave cooling time is 30 minutes.
